In March 2018, inside the program Școala Altfel (Another way of school), Ikaros Foundation has launched a volunteer action at Costache Negruzzi College from Iași, Romania. This consisted of two non-formal education workshops on the active citizenship subject and about 60 pupils aged 12-16 years old have participated. Inside these workshops, pupils engaged in brainstorming sessions, debates and creative ideas about how to improve their school environment and their learning process.

Just to name a few, they would like to have more interactive classes, a lunch break of an hour and a cantine with healthy food, career counseling or performance evaluation for teachers. And some of them want to explore more Erasmus+ and its opportunities.
