Wednesday, July 10, 2019, it took place the Multiplier Event The Bullying Watch – A Resource Pack for teachers and school community – Strategic Partnership Project for School Education – Safe School – Promoting students’ engagement in the prevention of bullying in school financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus + program in Romania where more than 80 people attended.

The event took place at the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (USAMV) and was organized by the Ikaros Foundation for Active Young People.

The event aimed to present the project’s intellectual products, as well as to facilitate the context for the people present to participate at the non-formal education workshops and at the Workshop of Restorative Circle and Conflict mediation.

The event was addressed to professionals in the field of education, youth workers, community leaders, parents and students and to all those to want to contribute to a better and safer environment for children.

The event’s agenda included an introduction in the Bullying phenomenon, short presentation of the project and it’s intellectual products, 3 workshops addressed to the general public, respectively to the pupils attended the event aimed to raise the awareness of the negative consequences of the bullying phenomenon and finding solutions for creating a nonviolent, positive and inclusive classroom environment.

At the event there were also present our special guests: Marian de Villanueva from Spain who spoke about the importance of educating empathy and emotional and social intelligence and Christina de Angelis of France, a mediator and trainer in nonviolence practices, of Restorative Circle and Conflict Mediation practices.
