Erasmus+ is the EU’s biggest programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Merging seven prior programmes, it has opportunities for a wide variety of individuals and organisations. Erasmus+ has opportunities for people of all ages, helping them develop and share knowledge and experience at institutions and organisations in different countries.

Erasmus+ offers opportunities for international mobility of individuals and international cooperation between organizations, among others:

  • Implementation of the study period abroad
  • Performance of professional practice
  • Professional development and training
  • Volunteering
  • Youth Exchange
  • Work on international projects aimed at the modernization and internationalization of the sector of education, training, youth and sport

Through Erasmus+ Youth, young people and youth workers can participate in international exchanges, long and short term volunteer placements and other international professional development activities.

Youth Exchanges (YE)

Youth exchanges allow groups of young people from different countries to meet and live together for up to 21 days. European Volontery Service (EVS)

The European Voluntary Service is open to young people aged 17-30 and lets you travel abroad for a period between 2 weeks and 12 months to participate in a project on a voluntary basis. Training Course (TC)

Erasmus+ supports the professional development of youth workers through training or networking periods abroad. Periods abroad can consist of training courses, study visits, job shadowing or observation periods at relevant organisations and more.
